Peat packs

The heat stored by the water is dispensed extremely delayed. That does no normal hot-water bottle or gel compresse can do. Peak packs are being used for many different applications. Warm up the peat pack in a bain-marie and apply it for the treatment of:

Peat is comprised of approx. 80 – 90% water and the rest of plant tissue which entraps heat.

When used in a pack, the heat stored in the water is released gradually, in contrast to the heat emitted from a hot water bottle or gel compress.

For thermal therapy, the use of the peat pack results in a particularly gentle and prolonged warming of the body. The peat packs are made from the finest natural peat. The peat in the peat packs is evenly textured, which means that the patient may lie on the pack without risk of injury through hard pieces of peat pressing the skin. The natural qualities of peat makes it ideal for thermal therapy.
